Comfortable, clean and cosy cottage with very good quality fittings and equipment. Very pleasant garden with ample furniture for sitting out. Perfect for a family, but with just one bathroom and loo, might not suit two couples sharing.

We had a lovely stay at the little cottage. we found it central to all the shops and new forest walks. There is everything you need in the cottage and we found it very comfortable. The only little hitch was the fact that it had ivy cottage on the wall and at first we were not sure if we were in the right place.

The venue of the cottage was excellent and couldn't be any closer to the village or the forest. Parking was easy. The directions were clear, the contents and equipment in the cottage covered everything that we needed. The garden was lovely, and although we did not use the BBQ I'm sure it will get plenty of use. I would definitely stay again !

If you’re after a holiday destination which has natural wonders and British tradition in abundance, look no further than the New Forest – a region where beautiful heathland, forest trails and stunning coastline surround quaint villages and market towns.

The National Park is found on England’s south coast, covering the south west of Hampshire but extending into Wiltshire and Dorset. It’s known for its picturesque footpaths and cycle trails, from which you can witness the spectacular sights of deer, ponies and cattle roaming free throughout the ancient woodland.

The villages of Lyndhurst, Brockenhurst and Buckler’s Hard have plenty of traditional, cosy pubs in which you can enjoy some locally-brewed cider or beer. Or, if you wanted something a little livelier, Hythe, Lymington and New Milton run fantastic weekly markets, while the lively city of Southampton is a drive away.

If you prefer coast over country, a visit to the shoreline is a must. Highlights include the Barton-on-Sea cliffs, Lymington Quay, and the Beaulieu River, where adventurous activities including canoeing await. There are plenty of other great things to do, too, with the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, Breamore House and Museum near Fordingbridge, and Exbury Gardens all found around the region.
