Treat the family to a stay in this luxurious lodge in the New Forest. The property is adjacent to the owner's but, being sat on a three-acre garden, it does not lack seclusion. Located in Godshill, it is in a great spot to explore the picturesque National Park and all the activities it has to offer.

This three-story contemporary-style property has been beautifully decorated with a neutral colour scheme, making the place feel light and airy. The front door leads you into the first floor where there is an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner perfect for bringing the family together. Relax on the sofas of an evening with some buttery popcorn and a movie and, in the morning, enjoy your coffee taking in the views from the balcony through the sliding doors. Downstairs on the ground floor, there's a twin bedroom and, up the stairs, on the second floor you'll find the second double bedroom.

Lovely holiday cottage. We've stayed in 3 holiday homes since extra Covid cleaning measures were introduced and this is the only one that has genuinely followed all the guidelines for infection control. The whole house was immaculate - but not cold and sterile and we still had a warm welcome from the owners.

Quiet and peaceful cottage from which you can walk straight into the forest or commons, or through the woods for 20/25 minutes to the pub at Woodgreen. If you’re after a holiday destination which has natural wonders and British tradition in abundance, look no further than the New Forest – a region where beautiful heathland, forest trails and stunning coastline surround quaint villages and market towns.

The National Park is found on England’s south coast, covering the south west of Hampshire but extending into Wiltshire and Dorset. It’s known for its picturesque footpaths and cycle trails, from which you can witness the spectacular sights of deer, ponies and cattle roaming free throughout the ancient woodland.

The villages of Lyndhurst, Brockenhurst and Buckler’s Hard have plenty of traditional, cosy pubs in which you can enjoy some locally-brewed cider or beer. Or, if you wanted something a little livelier, Hythe, Lymington and New Milton run fantastic weekly markets, while the lively city of Southampton is a drive away.

If you prefer coast over country, a visit to the shoreline is a must. Highlights include the Barton-on-Sea cliffs, Lymington Quay, and the Beaulieu River, where adventurous activities including canoeing await. There are plenty of other great things to do, too, with the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, Breamore House and Museum near Fordingbridge, and Exbury Gardens all found around the region.
