A bright and spacious holiday property boasting wonderful views over the water towards the needles and beyond. An ideal location to explore all the South Coast has to offer.

Settle on the balcony at this Milford on Sea holiday home and take in the views out across the Solent towards the Isle of Wight. Welcoming six guests, this modern, three-bedroom holiday home is well placed for both the south coast and the New Forest. Go swimming, surfing or paddleboarding on the water or head off for long leafy walks and cycle rides through woodland.

A super-king-size, with en-suite shower room, and a king-size bedroom, with Jack and Jill access to a bathroom, both have doors on to the garden. There is also a twin zip-and-link room, which can be made into a super-king-size bed if required. A handy laundry room completes the ground floor. Venture upstairs to the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Prepare tasty meals in the kitchen, then gather around the dining table together. Relax afterwards in the lounge and gaze out over Christchurch Bay or watch TV. On warm days, take a cold drink on to the balcony or spill out into the garden. There is also parking for three vehicles at the house.

Potter around the shops in Milford on Sea and choose from cafes and restaurants to eat out in. Take sandwiches down to the beach here or drive 8 miles to Christchurch to go to Avon Beach or Mudeford. For a longer day out, head to Bournemouth, 15 miles away. Make your way into the New Forest for a whole host of outdoor activities; hire bicycles in the village and then head into the trees or go pony-trekking less than 1 mile away, near Everton.

If you’re after a holiday destination which has natural wonders and British tradition in abundance, look no further than the New Forest – a region where beautiful heathland, forest trails and stunning coastline surround quaint villages and market towns.

The National Park is found on England’s south coast, covering the south west of Hampshire but extending into Wiltshire and Dorset. It’s known for its picturesque footpaths and cycle trails, from which you can witness the spectacular sights of deer, ponies and cattle roaming free throughout the ancient woodland.

The villages of Lyndhurst, Brockenhurst and Buckler’s Hard have plenty of traditional, cosy pubs in which you can enjoy some locally-brewed cider or beer. Or, if you wanted something a little livelier, Hythe, Lymington and New Milton run fantastic weekly markets, while the lively city of Southampton is a drive away.

If you prefer coast over country, a visit to the shoreline is a must. Highlights include the Barton-on-Sea cliffs, Lymington Quay, and the Beaulieu River, where adventurous activities including canoeing await. There are plenty of other great things to do, too, with the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, Breamore House and Museum near Fordingbridge, and Exbury Gardens all found around the region.
