A short drive from the property takes guests to the coastal town of Lymington and its various independent shops, cafes, and bars.

This ground floor apartment is full of character and charm with original terracotta tiles and lovely wooden floors. There is a spacious lounge and double doors, which lead out onto the patio and gives the room a wonderful sense of light and space. The lounge is a great spot for curling up and watching a DVD in front of the woodburner after a day spent on the beach. The well-equipped kitchen diner is a great space for entertaining and cooking up a storm.

The apartment has three good size bedrooms all having their own television. The main bedroom is a delightful double with a wrought-iron bedframe and there is also a pull out bed (suitable for a child) and an en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom contains two single beds which can be joined together to make a double bed if required. The property’s third bedroom is a cosy single and there is a main bathroom with a bath and shower.

The apartment has a lovely patio garden area with a glass canopy so that guests can enjoy a BBQ and al fresco dining whatever the weather.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Superb location in Burley. Well furnished and equipped for our holiday, lovely comfortable beds. On arrival it was so nice to find milk, teabags and biscuits for us. Helpful info pack and leaflets. We had a great holiday - including the dog.

The apartment is in a great location, in the village of Burley. Burley has lovely individual shops, a general store & tea rooms. The apartment has everything you need.

Close to village centre, however the nearest road is quite busy and there is some noise. The property is well equipped and very clean but I did expect that for the price paid. Parking can be tight when others are parked in the lane.

The Old Chemist is the 3rd cottage we have rented in Burley and definitely the best so far! Excellent maps provided which led us to discover the deer sanctuary viewing point at Boldrewood.

If you’re after a holiday destination which has natural wonders and British tradition in abundance, look no further than the New Forest – a region where beautiful heathland, forest trails and stunning coastline surround quaint villages and market towns.

The National Park is found on England’s south coast, covering the south west of Hampshire but extending into Wiltshire and Dorset. It’s known for its picturesque footpaths and cycle trails, from which you can witness the spectacular sights of deer, ponies and cattle roaming free throughout the ancient woodland.

The villages of Lyndhurst, Brockenhurst and Buckler’s Hard have plenty of traditional, cosy pubs in which you can enjoy some locally-brewed cider or beer. Or, if you wanted something a little livelier, Hythe, Lymington and New Milton run fantastic weekly markets, while the lively city of Southampton is a drive away.
