We booked this cottage at the last moment, and weren't disappointed. Beautifully clean, airy and well equipped. Great kitchen. We appreciated the welcoming touches left for us. Good to have everything on one level, and suited our party of 4 adults and a dog. The cottage is well located for the village, with horses walking past the front door, and pRead morelenty of walking or cycling routes nearby. The nearby Queen's Head pub was great for meals out too. Would all love to return for another visit. Hide

The Old Chemist is the 3rd cottage we have rented in Burley and definitely the best so far! Excellent maps provided which led us to discover the deer sanctuary viewing point at Boldrewood.

Excellent, especially as we had my 93 year old mother with us and it was all on the level. Booking process was very efficient. Hockey Farm Shop and Tea rooms was a real find.
