Explore the stunning and fragile landscape of the New Forest National Park from this thoughtfully converted barn, which is set on a working farm and it seamlessly combines character features with contemporary style.

Set amongst spectacular countryside, this former barn has been refurbished to an excellent standard with a plethora of walking, cycling and hiking trails locally for you to explore on foot, two wheels or with your four-legged friend. You'll also find a wealth of traditional pubs to treat yourselves too. This fabulously stylish property sleeps five and it's open-plan interior makes it a perfect space for spending quality time together.

This property is a truly welcoming space mixing rustic tradition in the form of wood beams and dining table with a contemporary and well-equipped kitchen area. Snuggle up on comfortable sofas in front of the woodburner or enjoy a glass of wine before dinner perched on one of the bar stools. Upstairs you'll find three bedrooms - one king, one double and a single - all tastefully decorated along with a fantastic family bathroom complete with luxurious free-standing bath and separate shower. The bedrooms are all set in the eaves so there is some restricted head height, but all have beautiful views of the countryside so you can truly relax. Outside you'll find a patio, BBQ and fully enclosed lawn so your dog can run free whilst you make the most of the outside space. With off-road parking for two cars just 50 metres from the property, you'll have everything you need.

cottage has been renovated to a high standard - a great location with views to open countryside. A great pub 5 minutes walk. Abby lives next door so nothing is to much trouble - definitely becoming back in the winter to make use of the wood burner.

The Wood Shed is an amazing place to stay. It is created by Abi and Ed and they have made a very natural property but with all modern amenities. The location is perfect for visiting The New Forest and the surrounding area. Abi and Ed made the stay very easy and were always on hand if we needed anything or ideas of what to do. The Wood Shed is a musRead moret if you want to get away from a busy life and just chill and relax in wonderful surroundings. Definitely will be returning in the future. Hide

If you’re after a holiday destination which has natural wonders and British tradition in abundance, look no further than the New Forest – a region where beautiful heathland, forest trails and stunning coastline surround quaint villages and market towns.

The National Park is found on England’s south coast, covering the south west of Hampshire but extending into Wiltshire and Dorset. It’s known for its picturesque footpaths and cycle trails, from which you can witness the spectacular sights of deer, ponies and cattle roaming free throughout the ancient woodland.

The villages of Lyndhurst, Brockenhurst and Buckler’s Hard have plenty of traditional, cosy pubs in which you can enjoy some locally-brewed cider or beer. Or, if you wanted something a little livelier, Hythe, Lymington and New Milton run fantastic weekly markets, while the lively city of Southampton is a drive away.

If you prefer coast over country, a visit to the shoreline is a must. Highlights include the Barton-on-Sea cliffs, Lymington Quay, and the Beaulieu River, where adventurous activities including canoeing await. There are plenty of other great things to do, too, with the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, Breamore House and Museum near Fordingbridge, and Exbury Gardens all found around the region.
