In a position that is little known, Baileys Hard is a small selection of well positioned, discreet homes on the renowned Beaulieu Estate, situated at the end of a long single track road.

A superbly located property situated in a wooded setting on the bank of the Beaulieu River, an ideal spot to enjoy the peace and tranquillity. Just a couple of miles up the road is the Bucklers Hard Maritime museum, which gives an insight into the history of this 18th century shipbuilding village focusing on its vessels. On the way to Beaulieu village meet the local ponies and donkeys grazing on the road side and then on to Beaulieu Motor museum offering a calendar full of events throughout the year. Close to the pretty Georgian market town of Lymington where there are shops, restaurants and gastro pubs. The area also offers plenty cycling routes and forest walks.

From the entrance hall you will find three bedrooms on the ground floor. The master double bedroom has a pleasing view looking out over the rear decking and woodland surroundings. The twin and single bedrooms both offer enchanting views. The bathroom has a bath, large shower cubicle and WC. The staircase leads to the first floor open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, the lounge area is a perfect spot to curl up and relax with a good book or watch a movie in front of the inviting wood burner. The spacious dining area has plenty of room for a super dinner party. There is a bright, airy and well-equipped kitchen with an electric oven and induction hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, it’s a great space for the aspiring chef. The separate utility room has a washing machine and tumble dryer.

Access the garden from the double glazed French doors onto a large decked veranda with garden furniture, seating for five guests, views across the woods and a sneak peek at the Beaulieu River through the trees. What a perfect spot for dining al fresco for friends and family to enjoy. On the ground level, to the rear of the property, there is an all weather table tennis table.

Tree Tops is a gem of a house in a perfect location. We loved wandering from the door to Bucklers Hard and Beaulieu. A really relaxing a peaceful stay; we will definitely be back.

The two story cottage is set in a wood a short walk from the Beaulieu River midway between Beaulieu and Bucklers Hard (both of which can be reached by foot on the Solent Way) and is very tranquil. The bright and spacious open plan upper level with vaulted ceiling includes the living and dining areas and walkout to a large balcony with outdoor furniRead moreture and a gas barbecue. The cottage is in mint condition and the owner was readily reachable and very helpful. Hide

A lovely home in a tranquil setting- we have loved living among the trees and enjoyed the birdsong and Bluebells. Plenty to see and do in the area. We visited Lymington and Beaulieu Motor Museum and had a walk and picnic in the forest. Thank you for the welcome pack.
