We had a fantastic week at this property. The house is spotlessly clean and very spacious. The kitchen is well equipped and the utility room is very handy for storing suitcases etc out of the way! Beds and sofas are very comfy. It is extremely well located just a short walk from the beach and quay. The rear garden is a mix of patio and gravel, no lRead moreawn, but there is plenty of garden furniture for enjoying the sun out there. I highly recommend this property! Hide

The cottage is really well set out and with its bright white painted rooms it gives a feeling of a very summary setting. A grass garden would be preferred to the small stones and concrete back garden especially with young children. The location is perhaps not ideal, although not far from the beach but not far from prying eyes.

This was a lovely place to stay with the family. The open plan kitchen-dining area with skylights made for a particularly homely space for our toddlers to run around in. Nice location close to the beach and quay, and short drive away from New Forest, Christchurch and Bournemouth.

The area is great for walking, the quay and beaches which are about 10 minutes walk away. Would thoroughly recommend this bungalow

If you’re after a holiday destination which has natural wonders and British tradition in abundance, look no further than the New Forest – a region where beautiful heathland, forest trails and stunning coastline surround quaint villages and market towns.

The National Park is found on England’s south coast, covering the south west of Hampshire but extending into Wiltshire and Dorset. It’s known for its picturesque footpaths and cycle trails, from which you can witness the spectacular sights of deer, ponies and cattle roaming free throughout the ancient woodland.

The villages of Lyndhurst, Brockenhurst and Buckler’s Hard have plenty of traditional, cosy pubs in which you can enjoy some locally-brewed cider or beer. Or, if you wanted something a little livelier, Hythe, Lymington and New Milton run fantastic weekly markets, while the lively city of Southampton is a drive away.

If you prefer coast over country, a visit to the shoreline is a must. Highlights include the Barton-on-Sea cliffs, Lymington Quay, and the Beaulieu River, where adventurous activities including canoeing await. There are plenty of other great things to do, too, with the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, Breamore House and Museum near Fordingbridge, and Exbury Gardens all found around the region.
