Lovely location and a sweet flat. I'm going to nit pick because it was expensive - the essentials should be provided for a self-catered flat - like salt, pepper, teabags, washing up liquid, a cooking oil. There was dust on the loo roll holder and fan (I'm being picky, but you expect perfection for the price). I also recommend you buy oven mitts andRead more a side table for the sofa! Overall, a lovely stay. Hide

Our stay at the apartment was lovely, the girls at check in were really welcoming and friendly, it was very clean, modern and well stocked with equipment, the bed was very comfortable. Before we came we were a little unsure about the music coming from the wine bar below as a previous guest had mentioned it, but we heard nothing. A very big plus wasRead more the parking clock you got to park your car as we were able to use it in other similar car parks around the New Forest. Would certainly recommend. Hide

Our flat was very modern comfortable and quite well equipped. Location is excellent. Access is quite a climb if you have large cases. There was some noise from the wine bar downstairs but this was not an issue as they close quite early. Overall I would recommend the property.

If you’re after a holiday destination which has natural wonders and British tradition in abundance, look no further than the New Forest – a region where beautiful heathland, forest trails and stunning coastline surround quaint villages and market towns.

The National Park is found on England’s south coast, covering the south west of Hampshire but extending into Wiltshire and Dorset. It’s known for its picturesque footpaths and cycle trails, from which you can witness the spectacular sights of deer, ponies and cattle roaming free throughout the ancient woodland.

The villages of Lyndhurst, Brockenhurst and Buckler’s Hard have plenty of traditional, cosy pubs in which you can enjoy some locally-brewed cider or beer. Or, if you wanted something a little livelier, Hythe, Lymington and New Milton run fantastic weekly markets, while the lively city of Southampton is a drive away.

If you prefer coast over country, a visit to the shoreline is a must. Highlights include the Barton-on-Sea cliffs, Lymington Quay, and the Beaulieu River, where adventurous activities including canoeing await. There are plenty of other great things to do, too, with the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, Breamore House and Museum near Fordingbridge, and Exbury Gardens all found around the region.
