This pretty cottage is hidden away on a quiet lane in the charming New Forest village Lyndhurst, perfectly located for exploring the whole of the National Park. Guests can stroll straight from the property on to the leafy byways where ponies graze peacefully, or take a gentle 10 minute wander into Lyndhurst village. By car the award-winning motor museum in picturesque Beaulieu and the coastal town of Lymington are both only 20 minutes away.

Designed with all seasons in mind the gorgeous galley style kitchen has double doors you can fling open on sunny days. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for a self-catering holiday and the separate utility room houses a washing machine and freezer. The dining room is an ideal social space for spending time with family and friends, seating six people.

The living room is equipped with books, a 40” TV/DVD with a Hudl tablet for streaming Netflix and iPlayer, and a woodburner providing a cosy space to relax. On top of that, a separate conservatory provides extra living space which serves as a sun trap on a summer days. Here you’ll find at 22” LCD TV with a Hudl table – ideal as children’s snug!

The master bedroom and en-suite is located on the ground floor with a king-size bed and with exposed oak beams it oozes country charm. The further two bedrooms are found on the first floor while the family bathroom is on the ground floor.

The fully enclosed garden is a real treat, offering a traditional cottage style with patio, lawn, garden furniture and parasol – perfect for dining al fresco. There is also a shed for storing bikes but you will need to provide your own padlock.

This property is perfect for families offering plenty of space to relax but also providing facilities such as toys, books, stairgates, highchairs, changing mats and monitors.

The cottage is beautifully furnished, very comfortable and I think Lesley has thought of everything. The little touches of flowers, welcome hamper etc. all made it special. It's location is fabulous; everything we wanted to do was within easy reach or 'on the doorstep'.

We were greeted on arrival & given a quick tour of the cottage! All the essentials were waiting for us, plus extras! We even had an email to check which we'd milk & bread we'd prefer & the prosecco chilling in the fridge was very welcome! We stayed for three weeks in November and it was a lovely experience. The location is excellent for Lyndhurst and the New Forest. The furnishing are top class, with everything you need. Lovely cosy little cottage. Great master bedroom. Very good wifi. Well equipped. Absolutely fantastic location. Open forest across the main road, very convenient for shops, restaurants and pubs, all within walking distance. Could not fault it.
