Hop on the pedestrian ferry at Mudeford Quay (6.5 miles) to access the beach. If you’re looking for peace and tranquillity, take a stroll at Hengistbury Head (8.5 miles). This Site of Special Scientific Interest is home to over 300 species of birds and boasts magnificent views of the harbour. A relaxing afternoon can be spent in the unspoilt market town of Ringwood.
