Located within the beautiful New Forest countryside just outside the village of Woodgreen (2 miles) this property is perfect for four guests that are ready to get out and explore. A footpath direct from the lodge takes you to Burgate (1 mile) where there’s a popular restaurant, but head 1 mile further and you’re in the charming town of Fordingbridge that has a range of pubs and eateries. This property is an excellent choice for those that want a home-from-home to return to after a long day; relax among the stylish decor or grab your swimsuit and jump in the hot tub.

The lodge, which sits adjacent to the owners’ stable yard, welcomes you with contemporary styling and thoughtful furnishings throughout. Cook up some local fare in the kitchen and head out to the deck to dine alfresco or sizzle up the BBQ as you all gaze at the views. Snuggle up on the sofa in the open-plan living area in front of the TV among peaceful grey and white tones, or curl up in an armchair with your favourite book for a cosy night in. Crisp, fresh decor in the bedrooms ensure you get a refreshing night’s sleep so you’re ready the next morning for a day of adventure.

The children will love Paultons Park (14 miles), home of Peppa Pig World - one attraction that’s not to be missed. If you’re not travelling with little people, Beaulieu (21 miles) might be more appealing; the village is home to the National Motor Museum, but you can also hire canoes on the river or take the 16-mile round walk to Brockenhurst and back where you’ll see horses and ponies grazing in the fields. Make sure you visit Salisbury Cathedral (12 miles) and Stonehenge (22 miles) before you head home.

Beautiful location, very secure, no worries about the dogs getting out. Amazing to hear no traffic, see no artificial light, just viewing the sky and the stars. We liked the noise of the wildlife, I especially liked listening to the neieieighbors greeting us and the occasional Moooo's.

A lovely break in a beautiful part of the new forest. There are walking paths through the forest a 2 minute walk away and new forest horses roaming around. It was a good distance from the south coast for a day trip. The lodge was clean and comfortable and the hot tub was that added bit of luxury.

Our 3rd stay at Lavender Lodge & certainly won't be the last. The perfect location if you want to walk or cycle straight from the door. Amazing dark skies, but take a torch as very dark if you need to walk your dog at night. A great place to relax & recharge.
